Urban decay primer potion VS Too faced shadow insurance

In a time before dinosaurs, cavemen and the IPhone 4 came 2 primers ( Urban decay primer potion & Too faced shadow insurance) constantly battling to be the best but which one REALLY is.......................................

Cost...........

UDPP & TFSI is £12.00 (sources from Boots)

The (Basic) differences..........
TFSI  is creamier & thicker .
UDPP is silky & more watery. Sheer & nude.

UDPP..........

Light weight and very smooth when applied
The color it this light beige but when applied to the lids and blended it becomes translucent
Hold: No creasing, fading, or smears

TFSI..........

This one has more than the Urban Decay
When applied its a bit sticky
Hold: No creasing, fading, or smears

The best......................

ITs (almost) a draw !!!!!!!

In my opinion the Primer Potion would be better for people with oily eyelids. Also Urban Decay has bought out a new bendy application brush to help you get more out of it as everyone remembers the pain of cutting of the old bottles, which is pretty handy! Too Faced Shadow Insurance comes in a squeezy tube making it a doddle to get the product out and you get extra product.

5 make up mistakes

1.Concealer Before Foundation-
If you're applying concealer to problem areas (pimples, spots, discolouration) before foundation, chances are that you're using more product than needed. Start with your foundation and spread it evenly. It gives some coverage and evens out things. Then add just enough concealer and blend it into your foundation. The result is more natural looking and far less likely to look caked.

2.Gloop on your lips
One layer of lip gloss—gorgeous. Four layers of gloss—ghastly. This is not the time to say, “the more the merrier.” And don’t think that the more gloss you put on, the more you’ll be kissed. Too much gloss is actually a turn off. Who wants to get stuck to all that gunk?

3.Using foundation as tan/bronzer
A foundation should always match your natural skin tone but unfortunately many women choose a foundation that is two or three shades darker than their skin tone and the result is a face that looks comically and unnatural. Most of the women think that a darker shade of a foundation will act like a bronzer and will create a summer tan but for this aim there are those specifically designed products called bronzers.
4. Clowning

Emphasizing both eyes and lips, using an intense makeup, in the same time can be a major no-no. So, if you want to bring out your eyes, try a lighter lipstick color for the lips, or, you can even try a lip gloss and if you want bright lips try a shadow that almost matches your skin tone or even no eye shadow

5. Circus - blush
we all know that blush adds a healthy touch to your look. But, when going for the bright pink color and apply it thickly without blending it the result might be quite hilarious and more circus-ish

10 Make-up tips

here is 10 makeup tips!........

1.The most important makeup products that should be used daily are concealer, mascara and lip colour. Concealer will make you look less tired. Mascara will make your eyes appear larger than they are and more open. Lastly, lip colour accentuates a lovely smile. Now you´re ready to greet the world :)

2.Cosmetics have "gone bad" if they smell funny or if the formula has separated or dried out. Be especially careful with products used near the eyes as this is a sensitive area. If you suddenly react to a product that you have used faithfully, there may be bacteria forming, and therefore you have a reaction.

3. Give your complexion a healthy flush of colour by dabbing a cream blush onto the apples of your cheeks and then blend in. Bobbi Brown have a delicious array of colours to suit every skin tone in their Pot Rouge collection and the cream texture produces a youthful glow rather than a powdery finish.

4.Curl your lashes before using mascara as this will make you look more awake and your eyes will appear larger. Apply lashings of black mascara making sure it does not look clumpy but beautifully defined and separated.

5. Prepare the skin by using a ‘primer’. This will smooth out the surface of the skin and allow foundation to adhere better and last longer.

6.Always apply concealer after foundation.  Use cream based light-reflecting concealers around the eye  area and more powder based heavier-duty concealers on spots and blemishes.

7.Test foundation colour on the jaw line to find the exact match. Try at least two colours; the one that blends  away and doesn’t look noticeable is the correct shade.

8.Use bronzer on cheekbones, temples and nose as a quick fix to give the skin a more luminous healthy  appearance.

9.  You pat concealer in, you never rub it in We know this from watching the Tyra Banks show. When applying concealer, put a bit on the pad of your middle finger and pat it in. Never rub.

10.Don't play up the eyes and the mouth Women who wear heavy eye makeup and dark lipstick can look clownish. If you want to wear  red lipstick, keep the rest of your makeup light. If you are playing up the eyes, keep your mouth light with a gloss or light lip color that doesn't stand out.

Rimmel Vinyl Gloss

The next thing i bought was Rimmel Vinyl Gloss, its RRP is £4.99 which is the price i paid.

GOOD THINGS........... looks glossy and makes lips soft and curvy
BAD THINGS............... tastes disgusting and is very very sticky

What it claims..........

Rimmel's Vinyl gloss claims that it delivers a 'brilliant high gloss lasting shine which conditions & moisturises' as well as it being a 'lightweight, non-sticky formula'

Packaging.................

My first thought upon seeing this was slight disappointment because I think that it looks sorta cheap and tacky looking, a bit like those glosses from miss sporty ! I must admit that I expected a bit more class from Rimmel, but however, looks aren't everything (or are they?). The bottle is roughly 4 inches in length, and supposedly contains 5ml of lip-gloss  (must be kidding me on ). The bottle is clear so that you can see the product inside, with a rim of silver just under the cap, with the Rimmel logo. The actual cap itself black  and quite big.

The lip-gloss...............

Although this is a good lip-gloss it is VERY sticky and tastes HORRIBLE.  It does however make your lips look super shiny which is great, although I wouldn't say it gives a ''mirror shine'' as it claims to do so. Another good factor is that it DOES condition and moisturize, making lips visibly softer so it doubles up as a lip balm.

Despite its flaws - it's a good lip-gloss
no gloss on :((((((((((

Gloss on - soo glossy :)))))))

I bought 730 (cosmic) :]

Grade..........A-
