My Summer Scent

I am currently sitting writing this while it is raining with thunder and lightning.  Can you guess where I am?  That's right good ol' Scotland! :)  So this post is about my summer scent to help lift my spirits up as this dreadful weather is really starting to bring me down.

Daisy eau so fresh by Marc Jacobs is one of my all-time favourite perfumes as it is just so easy to wear.  I wear this especially in the summer and also in the winter when I need a little pick-me-up.

Marc Jacobs is a highly successful fashion designer but he has also made tons of perfume (the original daisy, Lola, oh Lola etc...) so I was thrilled when I got this for my birthday a while ago.

I have this in eau de toilette as opposed to eau de perfume which will have different staying power etc...

To me the notes are not very detectable separately as they sort of blend together to create a beautiful light, fruity scent.  It has notes of raspberry, sensuous wild rose, and deep and warm plum.  I'd say that you definitely can smell the raspberry at first but then it slowly changes and you can smell rose and violets which makes it turn very florally for a while then musk and cedarwood come to play as they give the fruity notes a boost thus turning it back to a dominantly fruity scent

I think that it is perfect for summer (or every season to be honest) and I just love the lid it's so beautiful.  I like the fact it only has one yellow flower it makes it unique in my opinion and it is bigger than standard perfumes which is always nice.
It stays on me for around 5 hours but remember on others it will differ.
You will get compliments for sure with this perfume, when I wear it; it gets triple the amount of compliments than others in my collection.

Have you tried daisy eau so fresh?  What are your thoughts?
