Urban decay deluxe shadow box

Hello honey-bees today i'll be reviewing the urban decay deluxe shadow box which was actually my first eye-shadow palette ages ago :)

What they say...........
Filled with only Deluxe Eyeshadows, this velvety case is loaded with 9 of our best-selling shades. Comes with a travel size Eyeshadow Primer Potion!
The new and improved Deluxe Shadow Box includes nine of our velvety pigment-rich Deluxe Eyeshadows-from bold brights to classic neutrals. PLUS, we've popped in a vial of Eyeshadow Primer Potion-sure to get anyone who hasn't tried it, addicted! The gorgeous compact is wrapped in luxe purple suede (faux, of course), and features a window of irresistibly touchable shiny silver mesh.
Fill Weight: Deluxe Eye Shadow 9 x 1.2 e 9 x .04 US oz; Eye Shadow Primer Potion 2.66ml e 0.10 US fl oz

Packaging.....................

It comes in a purple velvety(but its fake suede) box with chain detailing which to be honest i don't really care for as it attracts way to much dust.  Inside there is purple floral detailing which i really like a big mirror (always a plus), 2 brushes which unfortunately  i cannot show you as i lost them (they weren't very good anyway) and 9 eyeshadows with names.

Eyeshadows...........

They are 9 of them and they are pretty sparkly but its fine glitter not chunks of glitter , still i wouldn't wear this for work or school.  The colours range from underground (deep bronze-brown) to Peace (turquoise).   The shadows are buttery smooth apart from zero which was chalky.  I would've loved one or two matte neutrals but then i guess I've got the naked palette.  They last about 4 hours without primer and 8 hours with primer.  I like the 3 bottom colours the best that I've hardly touched the other ones.

Colours in detail;
Fishnet-This is like an iridescent pink/purple shade.
L-r ; Fishnet, Honey, Ransom, Graffiti
Honey-This is a very light shiny gold colour with yellow undertones.
Ransom-This is a purple. It is same purple urban decay use for logo, background etc...
Graffiti-This is a vivid green not for everyday use
Zero-This is a black with glitter not my favourite (it is pretty chalky)

Underground
Peace-This is a shimmering turquoise
Shag-light Brown
L-r ; Peace, Zero ,Shag, Scratch
Scratch-champagne it is a nice highlight
Underground-deep bronze brown

Grade - C

Urban decay primer potion VS Too faced shadow insurance

In a time before dinosaurs, cavemen and the IPhone 4 came 2 primers ( Urban decay primer potion & Too faced shadow insurance) constantly battling to be the best but which one REALLY is.......................................

Cost...........

UDPP & TFSI is £12.00 (sources from Boots)

The (Basic) differences..........
TFSI  is creamier & thicker .
UDPP is silky & more watery. Sheer & nude.

UDPP..........

Light weight and very smooth when applied
The color it this light beige but when applied to the lids and blended it becomes translucent
Hold: No creasing, fading, or smears

TFSI..........

This one has more than the Urban Decay
When applied its a bit sticky
Hold: No creasing, fading, or smears

The best......................

ITs (almost) a draw !!!!!!!

In my opinion the Primer Potion would be better for people with oily eyelids. Also Urban Decay has bought out a new bendy application brush to help you get more out of it as everyone remembers the pain of cutting of the old bottles, which is pretty handy! Too Faced Shadow Insurance comes in a squeezy tube making it a doddle to get the product out and you get extra product.
