August Empties

Hey everyone , it's been a long time since i put up a post for you guy's but school has been pretty hectic but it is now september and i have a few (finished) products to show you.

I have to say that i really enjoyed putting my used items in my little Benefit 'finding mr bright' box as it was a little incentive to finish products more quickly.

First of all we have my l'oreal nude magique bb cream.  I don't really have an opinion yet as there obviously wasn't a lot of product.
Next was my l'oreal eyeliner which you can read about here.

Then we have my rimmel vinyl gloss which you can also read about over here.
I really loved the lift and luminate night cream (i even cut the top off so i could get all the product out as it did make my skin seem radiant) I might even but this next time i'm in boots to give you all a review on it
Last of all we have no7 extreme length mascara and i used this as my bottom lash mascara and it wasn't clumpy and i will buy this once all my current mascaras are finished.

Window shopping in Benefit

all pictures from benefit
play sticks

Playsticks ~ £25.50 - After reading several good reviews about this foundation / concealer/ powder and the fact it's oil free and gives a matte finish i really want to try this.

                             -----------------------------------------------------------------

erase paste

Erase paste ~ £19.50 - I have almost scraped the last of my current one which obviously means i loved it but at £19.50 it certainly doesn't come cheap!

                             ------------------------------------------------------------------

dallas

Dallas face powder ~ £23.50 - as i am olive skinned i think this would be the perfect colour for me and it would be my first venture into the benefit face powders as well.

                           --------------------------------------------------------------------
they're real! mascara

They're real mascara ~ £18.50 - it seems as though everyone has one of these mascaras and they all seem to have AMAZING lashes so hopefully these would make mine half as nice as that.

                           ---------------------------------------------------------------------
girl meets pearl

Girl meets pearl ~ £24.50 - I've used up 2 teeny-weeny samples of this and now i want the full sized one as it gives such a radiant glow.

Do you also like benefit as much as i do?
What products from benefit would you recommend?

Maybelline the falsies volum' express mascara

Hey honeybees :)
Sorry that i've not been here for almost 3 weeks i was on holiday to Florida which was really good.  Today i'll be reviewing maybelline 'the falsies' Volum' express mascara (£7.99)

What they say..............
Instant false glam in a tube

The Falsies Mascara delivers a false lash look; giving you a full set of voluminous, bold, fanned out lashes and the appearance of no gaps from any angle.

The Pro-Keratin and Fibre enriched formula is designed to deliver immediate results, distributing volume and visible intensity to your lashes. The patented ‘Spoon’ shaped brush helps fan lashes out.

The Falsies Mascara is designed to give the appearance of no gaps and spaces. In a wink lashes you didn’t even know you had look visibly thickened!

Packaging.........
it is purple with a teal band and lettering and its pretty big, My only problem is why its 'volum'' and not volume i mean come on maybelline one more letter won't make a difference but i guess that's just picky me.

Colours..............
As far as i know there is only black available which would be kinda annoying if you had fair eyelashes because it would look like you stuck false eyelashes on

Whats Good about it.......................
I like that the brush is curved which makes it easier to coat your lashes  ant it also curls.  its a very inky black which has a lot of pigmentation ( some blacks aren't actually black :/ ).   It gives a little bit of volume but a lot of length.

Whats bad about it............
Its dries really fast which can be a good thing but if you want to build it this could be a problem , i also find that it clumps if you apply too quickly but it brushes out easily.

Too Faced Lash Injection pinpoint

I got a sample size of this a few months ago

What they say........
Based on the world famous Lash Injection formula Lash Injection Pinpoint targets each lash to create the dramatically long extremely defined and separated lashes of your dreams! Like a mascara architect Lash Injection Pinpoints exclusive 3D Polymers build waterproof tubes around each lash that expand and stretch far FAR beyond the natural lash while the sleek pinpoint precision brush separates and curls lashes for the most divinely detailed lash look imaginable! Easily removable with out Lash Injection Antidote eye makeup remover or soap and warm water this amazing mascara doesnt dissolve and smudge like any ordinary mascara. Lash Injection Pinpoint comes off in tiny tubes like little lash socks! Incredible! Innovative! Glamorous! Of course- we're Too Faced.
Good things - coats every lash , formula , brush
Bad things - hard to get off , the full sized mascaras price

Packaging .....
its is a long black tube with pink writing

The mascara.....
The formula is very dry.  On the website they say too wiggle the brush back and forth to ensure an even coating, i have to agree as the short brush and dry formula could leave it looking very clumpy.  I like the brush as it ensures every lash is coated although it will take a little longer to apply than your standard sized brush.
When you come to remove it i find that it is that it sometimes sticks to my lashes and also the price for the full sized version is £14 which to me is a bit much.

What i am loving : may

Hey everyone its not quite june yet (1 day to go) but i thought i'd do this now rather than forgeting about and posting it in the middle of june.

So here we go !

1. Urban Decay Naked Palette - I love this palette best £27 I've ever spent in my life! The colours are very pigmented and blendable and just a big pile of lovely !! and i got with the double eyeliner instead of the eyeshaow brush -YAY!!! (maybe 'cause i got it the day it came out.)

2. Maybelline The Falsies Mascara - I spent £8 on something that should've been a lot more its buildable and not clumpy.

3. MAC a fabulous lip fantasy lip kit - it's a love or hate product and i LURRVE it! its colours that work on everyone it has 2 lip sticks and 1 lipgloss and the tartan packaging is right up my street as i am Scottish.

4.  Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - Love , love , love this foundation! its nearly a perfect match to my skin and it feels so nice putting it on.  I know a lot of people had problems with patches and muddyness but so far none for me :)

5. Ecotools 6 piece brush set - Perhaps the best , most soft drug-store brushes out there! I particularly like the blush brush and concealer brush
