August Empties

Hey everyone , it's been a long time since i put up a post for you guy's but school has been pretty hectic but it is now september and i have a few (finished) products to show you.

I have to say that i really enjoyed putting my used items in my little Benefit 'finding mr bright' box as it was a little incentive to finish products more quickly.

First of all we have my l'oreal nude magique bb cream.  I don't really have an opinion yet as there obviously wasn't a lot of product.
Next was my l'oreal eyeliner which you can read about here.

Then we have my rimmel vinyl gloss which you can also read about over here.
I really loved the lift and luminate night cream (i even cut the top off so i could get all the product out as it did make my skin seem radiant) I might even but this next time i'm in boots to give you all a review on it
Last of all we have no7 extreme length mascara and i used this as my bottom lash mascara and it wasn't clumpy and i will buy this once all my current mascaras are finished.

L'oreal studio secrets primer

Hello today i'm going to review L'oreal studio secrets primer.  this primer was in my July favourites and i thought it was about time i did a little review on it.

To start on a sour note i hate the packaging it is just really hard to get product out without it going under your nails which wastes product but that being said i realise there isn't many other alternatives to packaging....... unless it was in foundation packaging with a PUMP

I have oily skin so a primer is good for days i don't want powder on and this primer is very good at 'airbrushing' your skin so it isn't just one dimension like powder can sometimes make it look.

The consistency is quite bouncy, like a less moussey version of maybelline dream mousse products.  It is quite thick which means you need a *tiny* amount for your face and it blends perfectly.  It doesn't leave a white cast on your face if you don't blend as well one day (*ahem* no7 matte primer) and it does make my foundation stay on until the end of the night which is great.

The price is at the slightly pricier end of the drugstore brands but then again l'oreal is like the higher end drugstore brand (contractions , i know) and it is almost £15.  I know by know you'll be saying '£15 for a ..... primer. You've gone mad' but it did work.  My face was left smoother, my foundation looked great and the staying power wasn't bad either but is it worth the money? Personally i won't repurchase as i am sure there are cheaper alternatives for this primer.  So are you ready for the quest of a lifetime? I am ! !  And you ready to join me on my quest for the perfect primer?

If you are please list you recommendations for primers below and i will let you know how i get on.

L'oreal True match powder

Hola chicas !!!

Today I will be reviewing ‘L’oreal’s true match powder’ (£8.99)

What they say………
True Match Powder perfectly matches the colour and texture of your skin for a flawless finish. The fine, soft and lightweight powder blends perfectly with your complexion, almost as if you were not wearing any make-up.
Packaging………
It’s very simple.  It has a powder pan on top and that lifts up to reveal a little mirror and sponge.  Unfortunately my lid broke of (not tough enough to survive the old school bag, hmmmL)

The Powder….
I lurve it! It is buttery smooth and feels so light on its honestly as if you’re not wearing any base whatsoever!!!  It has a light to medium coverage (perfect for those days where you don’t want a lot of makeup) and it covers dark circles pretty well.  It wears for about 6 – 7 hours (which is good in my books).  At first there was 24 colours (I think), but now they are only 10 (they obviously picked the best-selling colours but there is still a good variety there).  This has lasted about 4/5 months.  This is the first powder I have ever had and if all powders are like this, well I’ve been missing outJ

Verdict – OMG I can not praise this little bundle of lovely enough.  It has (well used to until the lid broke L) a nice place in my bag.  Rush out and buy this now!!!!!

L'oreal infallible eyeliner

Hey,
       Gorgeous !!!

As far as waterproof eyeliners go my favorites are the too-faced lava gloss and the urban decay 24/7 eyeliners.  But as they can be expensive i decided to visit boots for a nice cheap eyeliner that stays put and behold the l'oreal infallible eyeliner (£5.19)

Good things.........
the eyeliner itself , price, staying power, sharpener

Bad things.........
Smudger

What they say...............

Enjoy beautifully defined eyes for up to 16 hours!

The eyeliner..............

Man , does this stuff stay put!!! I put it on at 8am and at 10pm when i was cleaning my makeup off it was still there!  Thats 15  hours , not to shabby!!!  Its retractable which is good as i don't like to keep on sharpening my eyeliners I also love the built in sharpener; at first when I tried to pull the lid off the smudger, I thought I broke it but it turns out that hidden inside was a sharpener :)) speaking of the smudger i HATE it.

Would i buy again.........

Yes :)
